Eric Clapton - joined the Allman Brothers at the Beacon 19 March 2009

On the 9th of March the Allman Brothers Band kicked off their annual gathering at New York's Beacon Theater, The band has dedicated the shows to founder Duane Allman and to its 40th anniversary. The Allman Brothers Band was formed in 1969 by Gregg Allman (vocals, organ) and Duane Allman (guitars). So far many guests already joined them on stage: Levon Helm (The Band), Buddy Guy, Sheryl Crow, Taj Mahal, Johnny Winter, Trey Anastasio, Robert Randolph, Bonnie Bramlett and Susan Tedeschi. As we already reported here Eric Clapton joined them on stage tonight.
