Eric Clapton Royal Albert Hall 2009 Concert PosterTonight was the final night of the 2009 run at the Royal Albert Hall! It was a good show, we got "I Shot The Sheriff" instead of "Got To Get Better In A Little While" and no "Three Little Girls"
Eric Clapton Royal Albert Hall 2009 Concert PosterEric and the band were back in form tonight; excellent show again! Wah-wah solo in "Going Down Slow", highlights were "GTGBIALW", "Driftin'", "Nobody Knows...", "Little Queen Of Spades " and "Before You Accuse Me".
Eric Clapton Royal Albert Hall 2009 Concert PosterUnfortunately tonight's show was a very disappointing one; Eric made a lot of mistakes and only in a few songs there were some good solos. He didn't look too well, actually he looked sick tonight.
Eric Clapton Royal Albert Hall 2009 Concert Poster Updated: setlist added - Tonight there was a "major" change to the setlist tonight: "Anything For Your Love" was dropped and for the first time during these Royal Albert Hall shows " Got To Get Better In A Little While" was performed.
Eric Clapton Royal Albert Hall 2009 Concert Poster Another change in the setlist tonight: (unfortunately) Drifin' instead of Not Dark Yet.
Eric Clapton Royal Albert Hall 2009 Concert Poster Jay Patell: Tonight's setlist was different from the previous nights at the Royal Albert Hall; we got one extra song during the sit down set - "Three Little Girls" (featured on his 2006 album with JJ Cale: The Road to Escondido). Everything Is Going To Be Alright was replaced with Before You Accuse Me.
Eric Clapton Royal Albert Hall 2009 Concert Poster Tonight again there was a minor change in the setlist, Lay Down Sally Was replaced by Nobody Knows You When You're Down And Out.
Eric Clapton Royal Albert Hall 2009 Concert Poster UPDATED 21 May 2009: Review and photos by Siro Garrido Padro: Just returned home after one day London and I guess I should be saying something like "Home, sweet home!!" or "There's no place like home".... But that's not true. There was one place like home last night: it was the Albert Hall. I had the opportunity to meet new people and greet some long-time friends. Just was my third time at the venue - my first two visits took place back in 2001 - but with a ticket for Row 3 I could be nothing but a winning horse this time.... And I was right!!!
Eric Clapton Royal Albert Hall 2009 Concert Poster A quick report from Petra Vanderbilt: Wonderful show again, Eric was really on fire most of the night. Like last night the playing was very intense. Highlights were Old Love, I Shot The Sheriff, Not Dark Yet, Badge, Little Queen Of Spades, Cocaine and Crossroads!
Eric Clapton Royal Albert Hall 2009 Concert PosterUPDATED: 17 May 2009 Review by Heinrich Weisz: What a show! FANTASTIC! First the Arc Angels came on stage. Great musicians, excellent set and good playing. One of the best support acts I have seen. The hall was nearly full when they came on stage and the response of the audience was very good.
Eric Clapton was introduced by Peter Kay. We have received mixed reports about the show: "It was a poor show with Eric making many mistakes on the guitar and vocals. I guess he must not be well." Reviews: iorr.org (The Rolling Stones Fan Club) and citylife Setlist: 01 Going Down...
It is a tradition Eric plays the most songs on the first night of the tour, so it is not a surprise he only played 16 songs instead of 18 songs tonight. The 2 songs he dropped are "Layla" and "Hoochie Coochie Man". And there is a "major" change in...

A FANTASTIC SHOW!!! While Eric had a good night on Thursday, tonight was superb. The standout track was "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" during which Eric laid down one of the most spectacular solos in memory (no pun intended). Eric was much more comfortable throughout and even "Dreams" was first-rate...
UPDATED 20 MARCH 2009: VIDEOS ADDED! Review by Terry Eicheimer: In an historic reunion at the Beacon Theater, Eric Clapton joined the Allman Brothers Band for a spirited performance (most of the second set). Though a bit tentative during the first numbers, Eric nonetheless played an inventive solo during the Allman Brothers' epic, Dreams. Derek & the Dominos classics Little Wing and Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad were highlights of the set in terms of Eric's playing. Susan Tedeschi joined the band for a welcome surpise: Anyday.
